Scott MacArthur | Superintendent
Scott is the club’s superintendent and is responsible for the maintenance of the golf courses, practice facilities and horticultural areas. Scott was born and raised in Calgary and has lived here his entire life. He holds a BA from the University of Calgary and a turfgrass diploma from Olds College.
Scott cares deeply about the maintenance of the courses and works diligently to achieve excellent conditions. He understands what an important part of members’ lives Country Hills is. Scott has managed to attract and retain excellent team members in the grounds department. His team is highly dedicated to the needs of the club and works diligently to make members happy.
Scott loves spending time with his four adult children and watching them successfully launch themselves into the world. He is an avid reader of history, biographies and fiction. Scott is a graduate of the Olds College Turfgrass program and has worked in the golf maintenance industry for 25 years.
