Thomas Gallant | Senior Assistant Superintendent
Thomas Gallant has been part of the Country Hills Golf Club team since 2007, starting in the Grounds crew in a part-time summer role while attending school. What began as a seasonal job gradually turned into a meaningful career. In 2013, he enrolled in Turfgrass Management through Olds College.
Over the years, Thomas has taken on various roles within the department, including Bunker Foreman, Spray Technician, and Assistant Superintendent. Today, he supports the day-to-day operations of the Grounds team as Senior Assistant Superintendent, working closely with Superintendent Scott MacArthur.
Thomas values the team environment, and his favourite part of working here is the people. In his downtime, he enjoys catching up with friends and exploring new places—Scotland is one destination he’s hoping to check off his list. Before turning his focus to Turf Management, Thomas also held roles in event operations at the Scotiabank Saddledome and worked in IT support for a CRM software company.
